You’re obviously interested in a home-based business – you wouldn’t be here if you weren’t. In keeping with my mission to help you succeed, however, I want to warn you about some of the home-based business schemes that worry me.
- MLM (multi-level marketing) plans are not always what they pretend to be. Those who start the plans may well make a lot of dollars, but joining such a plan later on doesn’t guarantee you a cent. My home-based business opportunity is not MLM.
- Some home-based business ideas demand you buy inventory and keep it at your home. The seller benefits, but do you? You have to store a pile of stuff, and may have trouble selling it on. You may also have to organize home parties and meetings. I don’t ask you to buy inventory, and I don’t expect you to run home parties and meetings.
- If a home-based business asks you to get your friends and family involved, think twice. You can end up losing your friends and annoying your family. I don’t want you bothering family and friends. My home-based business is different.
- A home-based business that requires you to run meetings at hotels (and pay for them) isn’t a true home-based business. You can also find such meetings expensive and pointless. I don’t want you setting up hotel meetings.
- Cold sales calls are a nightmare for most people. They are time-consuming, difficult and frustrating. I don’t like any business that uses cold sales calls – so I don’t use them.
- Another awful practice is sending tens of thousands of spam emails. How many people reply to these? Very few, I can tell you. You don’t send spam with my home-based business.
- Some businesses sell you a ‘package’ and then let you get on with it. You never hear from them again. No wonder that the people who’ve parted with their money for the ‘package’ get angry. I don’t take this approach. I work with you throughout. I want you to succeed and make money, because if you make money, so do I. We all benefit. All you have to do is follow my proven business plan and accept my advice and guidance.
- Those businesses that offer you support in the form of ‘associates’ don’t tell you that these people are in the same position as you: They’re new to the business and can’t give you proper help. My experienced business colleagues and I give you help at all times. We know what we’re talking about and can give you positive assistance when you need it.
